Join business leaders and State Treasurer Bill Lockyer for an interactive morning of educational and engaging discussions regarding California’s economic recovery. State Treasurer Lockyer will also announce new financing solutions for knowledge-based small and medium sized employers.
State Treasurer Lockyer will reveal ways in which small and medium sized businesses can open the door to low-cost industrial bond (IDB) financing to California’s knowledge-based industry sector. As you may know, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 expanded financing opportunities for small and medium businesses to access low-cost industrial development bond (IDB) financing. Participants will learn how employers can utilize this new tool to build, expand and modernize in California by providing affordable financing for land, facilities, and equipment.
